Everett Thomas

InEverett Thomas, age 84, of 3144 West Brushy Fork Rd., Zionville, NC , went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Johnson County, TN on January 17, 1929 to the late Clyde Thomas and Nettie Robinson Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Thomas; sisters: Mae Thomas, Ruth Thomas, Mabel Thomas and Marie Castle; brothers: Dean Thomas, Lane Thomas, Ray Thomas and Glenn Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church but had attended Green Valley United Methodist Church for several years. He is survived by his wife Jone Thomas; daughter, Cindy Dolinger and husband Randy; sister, Sue Reece and husband Fred; grandchildren: Kristen Yates and husband Michael and Kellie Dolinger; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in- law: Pearl Thomas and Antha Thomas and by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Green Valley United Methodist Church with Pastor Ricky Mitchell officiating.
