Thelma G. Winters

Thelma Grace Winters, age 69, of Shady Valley, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013. She was born on June 22, 1944 to the late Lewis and Artie Bishop Garland. In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie R. Winters, who passed away on October 29, 2009; an infant sister, Joyce Garland and brothers: James Garland and Willie Garland. Thelma is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Lisa and Waco Perkins and Sherry and Hubert Farmer; sons and daughters-in-law: Otis and Debra Winters and Eddie Shannon' and Patty Winters; sister, Shirley Moore; grandchildren: Kim Woodell and husband Nick, April Farmer, Kayle Winters, Wendy Winters and fiancé Mikey Worley, Chrysta Winters and fiancé Kody Justiss, Richard Winters, Emily Winters and Jamie Winters; great grandchild, Brooklyn Woodell; several nieces and nephews and her beloved pets. Funeral Services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor Harvey White to officiate. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Honorary Pallbearers are Hubert Farmer, Waco Perkins, Nick Woodell, Richard Winters, Jamie Winters, Mikey Worley, Kody Justiss, and Dillon Hicks.
