JC Wilson

JC Wilson, age 75, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on September 2, 1938 to the late Dan and Eliza Wilson. In addition to his parents, JC was preceded in death by sisters: Hazel Wilson and Ruby Forrester and brothers: Fred, Arthur, Edgar Shorty', Boyd and Ray Wilson. JC was a life-long farmer and retired from Burlington Industries. He loved being outdoors on the farm and also enjoyed beekeeping and hunting. The joy of his life was his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. JC was a member of Doe Valley Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lois Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jim Bunting; sons and daughters-in-law: JC Jr. Bo' and Joyce Wilson and Mike and Linda Wilson; sisters: Maxine King and Norma Jean Lowe; grandchildren: Aimee Wilcox and husband Jeff, Matthew Bunting and wife Megan, Amberlei Lawley and husband Josh, Dustin Bunting and wife Ashley, Donna Hopson and husband David, Brian Hopson and wife Tracy, Brad Dunn and wife Christie, Jacinda Triplett and husband John, Kimberly Sis' Wilson, Danielle Red' Wilson, Courtney Lamb, Madi Pee-Wee' Lamb; great grandchildren: Cody Jennings, Katy Sis' Jennings, Ally Phred' Augustine, Peyton Bunting, Jaycee JJ' Bunting, Brookie Cricket' Lawley, Skylelyn Silo' Lawley, Bella Bunting, Madison Tripeltt, Destiny Dunn, Tru Dunn, Bree Dunn, Jordan Hopson, Carrie Hopson and Camron Hopson; several nieces and nephews; Bo's Dog, JJ and many special friends. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Randy McClure and Roy Dowell to officiate. The family will receive friends from 11-11:30 a.m. on Friday, prior to the service. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the JC Wilson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glen Woodard, Brad Dunn, David Adams, Larry Jim Davis, David "Buddy" Stout and David Stevens. Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Jim Shine and Staff, Bill Brookshire, John Brookshire and Bob Pardue. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Peggy Hawkins, 933 Spear Branch Road, Mountain City, TN 37683. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mountaincityfh.com.
