UPDATE: DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, Graveside Service and Interment has been rescheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Pass Family Cemetery located on Sink Valley Road. Family, pallbearers and friends are asked to assemble at the graveside by 12:45 p.m. on Monday. Danny Glenn Pass Sr., age 62, of Butler, Tennessee, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Sunday, February 9, 2014. He was born on April 4, 1951 to the late Ida Isabell Pass Forrester and Paul Pass. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by a brother, James Jim' Pass and granddaughter, Shana Marie Vanover. Danny was a member of Roan Creek Masonic Lodge #679 F&AM and a member of Sink Valley Baptist Church. Danny drove a truck for many years. When he would come home on the weekends, you could find him in his garage working on his race car. Racing was a passion of Danny's and he loved to work on his cars, getting them ready for the big race'. Racing was not just something that he enjoyed, it was almost a family event. He was grateful to be able to do something that he loved and was blessed to be able to share his passion with his family and friends. No longer to race cars, Danny began farming again. He took great pride is raising his cattle and working on his farm. Danny is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Pass; daughter, Patty Pass; son and daughter-in-law, Danny Pass Jr. and Arizona Lee Pass; sister, Mildred Pearson Pass; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Evone Pass; sister-in-law, Brenda Pass; grandchildren: Pandora Lakeland Vanover, Sam Click Jr.; great grandchildren: Ezekial James Humphrey, Karrisa Lillian Powell, Channel Haiden Vanover, Nathaniel Dewayne Click and Abbigail Michele Self; several nieces, nephews and cousins and his special little friend, Danny's dog Scooby-Doo. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor Shannon Courtner to officiate. Masonic Services will follow and will be conducted by the Roan Creek Masonic Lodge. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Due to the inclement weather, Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at a later date.t the Pass Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Estep, Frank Perkins, Jim Birchfield, Jason Harmon, Jeff Pass, Travis Wilson and Eli Gray. Honorary Pallbearers are Jamie Pass, Randy Guinn, Toby Guinn, Harold Wilson, Eli Gray, Johnny Broyles and Barney Estep.
