Nancy Boyd

Nancy Boyd, age 69, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at her residence. She was born on January 24, 1945 to the late Everett and Lula Brown. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by two husbands, Louis White and Wiley Boyd; son-in-law Larry Lehman and sisters Iva Gremsley, Sue Ritchie and Sylvia Brown. Nancy liked to sew, quilt, crochet, garden, pick blueberries and fish. She was a member of Dyson Grove Baptist Church and on occasion she attended First Freewill Baptist Church. Nancy is survived by her daughters: Phyllis Lehman, Nancy Louise Jones, and Charlene Fredell & husband Mathew, all of Mountain City, TN; stepsons: Marty Boyd and Oliver Boyd; sisters: Lucy Prikasky of MI, Betty Pearson of Rice VA, Gladys Sharkey of Greenville, VA and Clara Helding of Seymour, TN; brothers: William Brown, James Brown of Stuarts Draft, VA and Phillip Brown of Rice, VA; grandchildren: Rose Lunceford and husband Paul, Louis Blaine White II, Mitchell Fredell, Christian Fredell and Aidan Fredell; two great grandsons: Micah Lunceford and Gavin Lunceford; several nieces and nephews; special family, Midge and Don Ratterree and their family; special companion Baby. Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor Leonard Fletcher to officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren, great grandchildren, Paul Lunceford, Patrick Shawn Sharkey and LeRoy Lee. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Palmarie, Dr. Vicente and the staff of Mountain States Hospice.
