Mary Nell Phillips

Mary Nell Phillips, age 79, of Bulldog Road, Trade, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 02, 2014. She was born on February 9, 1935 to the late Oscar Edgar Phillips and Hazel I. Maine Phillips. Mary was a 1953 graduate of Johnson County High School. She retired from Shadowline of Boone, NC following many years of loyal service. Mary enjoyed sewing and working in her flowers. She was a member of Mountain City Church of Christ. Mary is survived by her brother, William Howard Phillips; sister, Catherine Thomas and husband Floyd; niece, Sue Thomas; nephews: William Howard Phillips Jr., Dwight Thomas and David Thomas and their families and children; great niece, Brianna Phillips; great great nephew, Dennis Phillips; special friends: Willie Reece Proffitt, Tom and Barbara Wilson and Boyd and Lena Wilson and many special cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Spencer Roark to officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. prior to the service. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Tom and Barbara Wilson, Mulberry Street, Mountain City, TN.
