Michael Patrick Wilson

Michael Patrick Wilson, age 38 of Mountain City, Tennessee, was received Home by his Lord on Sunday, May 11, 2014. He was born on September 28, 1975 to Patty Reece Watson and the late Edwin Michael Wilson. In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mack and Dorothy Reece and his paternal grandparents, R.J. and Della Mae Wilson. Michael was a 1993 graduate of Johnson County High School. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and cutting wood. He was a Big Tennessee Vols fan. Michael was a born again Christian and was an active member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where he loved helping in Bible School. Michael is survived by his mother and step-dad, Patty and Barry Paw' Watson; he was engaged to Lavonda Thomas; brother, Richard Peanut' Watson of Mountain City, TN; aunt and uncles: Linda and Harold Bunting of Mountain City, TN and Chuck and Becky Reece of Gray, TN; Bobby Wilson and David Wilson both of Harbin Hill Road, Mountain City, TN; special niece, Kaylie Watson. Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Penley and Rev. Rick Thomason to officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the service at the church. Family Graveside Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Bean' Mink, Kevin Phillips, Michael Trivette, John Shull, Aaron Shull, Dennis Pug' Tester and David Bunting.
