Patricia Caldwell Smith

Patricia Caldwell Smith, age 65, of Shady Valley, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2014 at her home. She was born June 22, 1948 in Conway, South Carolina, to the late Fred Caldwell and Bertha Mae Drum Caldwell. Patricia's family described her as an awesome mother who dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She loved to sing gospel songs as she went about her daily activities. Perhaps her greatest gift was the ability to make people laugh. In fact, her niece remembered her by saying, "She taught me how to laugh". She is survived by her husband, James Smith; two daughters: Kristi Denise Smith Causey and husband J.J. and Tonya Lynn Smith Duncan and husband Chad; one brother, Carrol Caldwell and wife Kaye; granddaughters: Emily Channell, Jessica Caldwell, and Ashley Causey; grandson, Kaleb Martin; several nieces and nephews, and by her much loved little dog, Tiny. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Shady Valley Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Friends are invited to visit with the family and share remembrances of Pat during this time.
