Tony 'Leroy' Brown

Tony Leroy' Brown, age 57, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born on December 30, 1956 to Harvey and Lucille Timbs Brown of Mountain City, Tennessee. Tony enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed various kinds of music and collected old music albums. Tony was a former employee of Film Salvage and Crawford Paint Company. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Harvey and Lucille Brown, Tony is survived by his twin sons: Tony Lee Brown and Christopher Brown; stepdaughter, Tracy Beam; sisters and brothers-in-law: Susanne and Chip Swinnie and Lisa and Randy Warlick; brother, Jeff Brown; grandchildren: C.J. Brown and Anthony Brown; step grandchildren, Blake and Ashton Beam; mother of his children, Kay Brown and nieces: Rachel Allore, Ashley Wilson, Jesse Wilson and Stephanie Wilson. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Mountain City Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow with Pastor Jim Norman officiating. Special music will be provided by Mr. Joe Simcox. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Eisenhower, Joe Timbs, Bob Stout, Lee Arnold, Warren May and Randy Warlick. Honorary pallbearers are Chip Swinnie, Blake Beam, Tony Griffith, Garrett Burkett, Brown-Timbs-Stout Cousins and friends and neighbors. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his parents, Harvey and Lucille Brown, 1260 Crackers Neck Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.
