Tammy Sue Cooper

Tammy Sue Cooper, Age 51, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at her residence. She was born on April 20, 1963 to the late Effie Sue Bryant Main and Kerry Rhea Main. In addition to her mother, Tammy was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Rhea Main. Tammy was very outgoing, loved to travel and especially enjoyed visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. She was such a kind hearted loving person. Tammy was a wonderful grandmother and aunt. Her grandson, Richard, was her pride and joy. In addition to her father, Kerry, Tammy is survived by her husband of 27 years, Richard Cooper; sons: Howard Cooper and Ted Millard Cooper; sister and brother-in-law, Judy Carol and Joseph Wyatt; brother, Kerry Wayne Main; grandson, Richard Donovan Geoffrey Cooper; several nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law, Tiffany Minks; step mother, Wadie Main; her 70 pound lap dog, Madison. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Potter to officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside service and interment will follow from the Greer-Main Cemetery in Trade, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Gilley, Donovan Cooper, Tommy Jennings, Zach Cooper, Dallas Arnold, Darrin Bryant and Camron Cooper.
