Kathryn "Kass" Ann Seal, age 65, of Butler, TN, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at her residence after a year long battle with cancer. She was born October 24, 1948, in Johnstown, PA to the late Joseph Federer and Jessie Dunbar Federer. She grew up in Forty Fort, PA and had fond memories of that time in her life. Kass retired from Fed Ex in 2005 as an executive assistant after almost 25 years of service. She loved music and loved to dance. One of her favorite activities was riding in her T-Bird convertible with the top down playing 50's music accompanied by her canine best friend, Joey. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. She was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN. Kass was passionate about the plight of abused and abandoned animals and worked diligently in their care and rescue. . Survivors include her husband, Clive A. Seal, her daughters: Kim Kelly, Shelley Conrad and husband Joel, her step-daughter: Kristen Kruse and husband Mark, her step-son, Brett Seal and wife Becky, and nine grandchildren. It was Kathyrn's wishes to be cremated. Memorial donations may be made to the Johnson County Humane Society, P.O. Box 307, Mountain City, TN 37683.
