Melissa Ann Greer

Melissa Ann Greer, age 51, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born on February 21, 1963 to Kenneth Snyder and Peggy Tipton Snyder. She loved being outdoors and especially loved flowers. Melissa loved her mother's cooking. She was a sweet and caring person who really loved her family and everyone that she met. Melissa is survived by her parents, Peggy Tipton Snyder and Kenneth Snyder; daughter and son-in-law, Natalie Greer Harrell and husband Adam; son, Cody Greer; brother, Jeffrey James Snyder; grandchildren: Grayson Harrell and Maddox Harrell; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Steven Spencer, Billy Poe Jones and Greg Poe officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Reece Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Greer, Adam Harrell, Charles Snyder, Jeffrey Snyder, Eric Cullop and Brian Tipton. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Poe Jones, Steven Spencer, Greg Poe, Frank Woods and Ted Lewis. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her mother, 356 B.
