Leonard Bert Trivette Leonard Bert Trivette, age 78, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born on April 6, 1936 to the late Dewey C. and Mary Ella Snyder Trivette. In addition to his parents, Bert was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Mae and Buster Sutherland, a brother, George C. Trivette, and by a brother and sister-in-law, Glen Trivette and wife Ruth Trivette. He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert Oliver and a sister-in-law, Mary Trivette. Bert was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed mowing and ginseng hunting. He was also a gifted musician who could play the dobro, guitar and mandolin. Bert loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who he enjoyed spoiling. He retired from IRC/TRW after 30 years of service. He was a United States Army Veteran. Bert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janette Arnold Trivette; daughter, Dawn Trivette Woodring and husband Charlie Woodring; sons: Leonard Trivette and Robert Trivette and wife Nicole Ugenti; sisters: Cora Leigh Oliver and Pauline and husband Joe Roark; sister-in-law, Ann Trivette; grandchildren: Benjamin Woodring, A.J. Ugenti and Ella Ugenti; special nephew who was like a son, TJ. Corum, and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lane Roark to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment with Military Honors conducted by the Johnson County Honor Guard will follow from the Zionville Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be T.J. Corum, Jody Corum, Jim Milam, George Trivette, Dean Roark, Will Pierce and Brandon Miller. The family will receive friends 2-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
