Elaine Eggers Church

Elaine Eggers Church, age 62, of Trade, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born on July 15, 1952 to the late Blaine and Jean Hodges Eggers. In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by a son, Jody Church; and sister, Sally Eggers. Elaine was a very talented cook and enjoyed making meals for her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and making crafts. She is survived by her husband of 45 years on December 20th, Dave Church; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Michelle Church of Vilas, NC; sisters: Norma Adisey and husband Buddy and Janie Eggers, both of Boone, NC; brothers: Johnny Eggers of Boone, NC and Tom Eggers and wife Helen of Foscoe, NC; grandchildren: Dylan Church, his mother Brenda Reece and her husband Dave; Cameron Church, Ty Church, Harley Church and Grayson Church; special aunt, Lou Hodges of Mountain City, TN; and several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Junior Seatz and T.J. Wilson to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Vanderpool Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Corey Essick, David Eggers, John Eggers, Michael Thorne, Scotty Shelton and Wesley Lawrence. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 536 Eggers Branch Road, Trade, TN 37691.
