Paul A. Johnson

Paul Andrew Johnson, age 63, of Red Brush Rd., Mountain City Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday evening, December 26, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on June 3, 1951 in Johnson County to the late Zollie Johnson and Mary Edna Brewer Johnson. In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by a sister Donna Lynn Johnson and brothers, Harold Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Harry Johnson and Dean Johnson. Paul loved working with animals, reading the Bible and being with people at church. He was a good hearted caring individual and will truly be missed. Paul was a member of Hill High Faith Mission in Chilhowie, VA. He is survived by his loving daughter Mindy Forrester and husband Shawn of Mountain City, TN; grandchild, Travis Forrester; sisters, Mary Harper, Grace Harper, Judy Roark, Darleen Vanover and Jeanette Lunceford; brothers, Monroe Johnson, Junior Johnson and Orville Johnson; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from Mountain City Funeral Home with Buddy Morefield to officiate. The family will receive friends from 1- 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside Service and Burial will follow from the Johnson Family Cemetery ( Wilcox Rd., Mountain City). Pallbearers will be Corey Johnson, James Vanover, Ryan Hurley, Billy Johnson, Monroe Johnson, Edward Vanover and Clifford Lunceford. Honorary Pallbearers are Junior Johnson, Orville Johnson, Travis Forrester and Shawn Forrester.
