Richard Anthony Chambers Richard Anthony Chambers, age 66, of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his residence. He was born on November 30, 1948 to the late Earl Chambers and Velma Lewis Chambers. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Debra "Debbie" Kay Morefield Chambers, who passed away on November 22, 2009 and sisters: Jane Blevins and Carla Greer. Richard loved baseball. He enjoyed setting on his porch and working in his grapevines. He often could be found at the A-Z Store, where he would make a daily trip to and hang out'. Richard was known to be a cook at different restaurants, had worked in factories and had done frame work at the Final Touch. He loved his children and grandchildren very much and will be truly missed. Richard was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of Stateline Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughters: Antheia Chambers and friend Kevin Hartley, Danielle Blankenship and husband Robert and Meghan Huskins and husband Kevin'; grandchildren: Connor, Dylan and Cayden Huskins, Emily and Johnny Blankenship, Levi Richard Chambers-Hartley and Alexis Hartley; sisters: Violet Morefield, Kathy Chambers and Gail Johnson: brothers: Junior Chambers; half-brothers: Freddy, Wayne and David Chambers and Tony Doty; beloved friend, April Yarber and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Stateline Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Icenhour to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment with Military Honors conducted by the Johnson County Honor Guard will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday January 4, 2015 from the Stateline Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Blankenship, Kevin Greer, Todd Morefield, Josh Morefield, Chris Summerow, Kevin Hartley, Tyler Yarber and Jesse Wyatt. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Huskins, David Pennington, Ricky Morefield, Ralph Morefield, Mike Morefield and Mike Taveliro. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the church prior to the service.
