Samuel Everett Crosswhite, age 55, of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at his home. He was born July 27, 1959 in Cleveland, OH to the late Samuel Everett Crosswhite, Sr. and Claudia Stout Crosswhite. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Katie Crosswhite. Samuel enjoyed fishing and loved trucking especially long haul trucking. His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially the grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Brenda Howard Crosswhite; daughter: Melissa Robinson and husband Mike, son: Steve Crosswhite and wife Trish, grandchildren, Kelsey Forrester, Savannah Crosswhite and Jakob Crosswhite; sisters: Melanie Roark and Melinda Jennings, brothers: Wayne Crosswhite, Joe Crosswhite and Joshua Crosswhite, several nieces, nephews, cousins, his cat Luther and many friends also survive. Private Graveside services and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday January 11, 2015 from the Family Cemetery with Pastor Billy Morefield to officiate. Pallbearers will be Ray Jennings, Joe Crosswhite, David Roark, Sr., David Roark, Jr., Junior Heaton and Mike Robinson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad and EMS, 203 Vandilla, St., Mountain City, TN 37683.
