Pat Stout

Pat Stout, age 73, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born on October 23, 1941 In Johnson County to the late Karl and Hassie Osborne Madron. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Stout Jr., their only daughter, Tammy Stout, who passed away in 1988; sisters and brother-in-law: Betty Greever and her husband Stedman Greever, and Peggy Poteet; brother, Bobby Madron; half-brother, Forrest Madron; brother-in-law, John Dugger; nephews: Tommy Jack Madron and Donald Madron. Pat was a machine operator and mechanic for Levi Strauss and retired following 25 years of service. She loved making crafts and especially loved to paint and do woodworking projects. Pat also had a special love for animals especially her buddy Bear Girl. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Pat is survived by her special nephew, Jim Greever; sisters-in-law: Lorraine Madron and Doris Dugger; brother-in-law, Ralph Poteet; special friends: Cordelia 'Tom' Wilson, Jimmy Hayes, Dean Brooks, Reba Taylor, Debbie Stevenson, Liz Roush, Glen Richardson, Drema Richardson and Kristi Richardson; two nieces and eight nephews. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Sunset Memorial Park with Pastor Billy Morefield to officiate. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hayes, Lee Greever, Roy Adkins, Glenn Wilson, Glen Richardson and Bobby Greever. Honorary pallbearers are Matthew Greever and Joe Sutherland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rescue D.O.G at End of Life Sanctuary, c/o Melissa Gentry, 977 Harbin Hill Road, Mountain City, TN 37683. Rescue D.O.G. is a private animal rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing shelter.
