Evelyn Graybeal

Evelyn Kahlstorf Graybeal, age 93, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Mountain City Care Center. She was born on March 29, 1921 to the late Arthur and Mayme Buckley Kahlstorf. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Conley Graybeal; sister, Delores Snow and brothers: Dale Kahlstorf and Ronald Kahlstorf. Evelyn was a very out-going woman who enjoyed being social and spending time with her family and friends. She loved going to the Senior Citizens Center. Her pride and joy, was her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who she loved spending time with. Evelyn was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Robert and Elaine Graybeal of Mountain City, TN and David and Rose Graybeal of Watertown, South Dakota; brother, Wilbert Kahlstorf; grandchildren: Paul Graybeal, Dorothy Jones and Julie Mastell; great grandchildren: Nathaniel Graybeal, Madison Graybeal, Jake Mastell, Kate Mastell and Joe Mastell and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ricky Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Paul Graybeal, Nathaniel Graybeal, Chris Jones, Ronnie Lipford, Eddie Lipford and Tim Lipford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Evelyn's memory may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 421 W. Main Street, Mountain City, TN 37683 or Senior Citizen Center Van Fund, 128 College Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
