Norma Kay Pennington, age 71, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born on September 25, 1943 in Johnson County to the late Kemp D. and Mollie Jane Dugger Stanton. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her only child, a daughter, Angela Campbell and brothers: Park W. Stanton and Richard Stanton. Norma was a member of Bakers Gap Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Robert Pennington, two grandsons, Dan William Campbell and Joseph Blaine Campbell, one great grandchild, Dennis Campbell, mother-in-law, Carrie Pennington, special sister-in-law, Elma Ruth Stanton and sister-in-law, Cassie Pennington, special niece Tammy Stanton and special friend Ernie Cannon. Visitation will be held Monday, February 23, 2015, from 4:00- 5:00 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 5:00 p.m. with Ray Greene to officiate. Due to the inclement weather, the family respectfully requests no visitation at Norma's and Robert's residence at this time.
