Linda Buchanan Arnold Linda Buchanan Arnold, age 67, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born in Johnson County, Tennessee on May 23, 1947 to the late Dana Buchanan and Jestie Mullins Buchanan. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Linda liked gardening, yard sales, sewing and quilting. She especially loved her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Edward Arnold, Jr.; sister Marilou Betty" Buchanan; brothers Joseph Howard Buchanan, Alvin Dana Buchanan, John Buchanan, and Tommy Ray Buchanan. Linda is survived by her daughter Tammy Arnold Mannis and husband Gary; son Freddie Joe Arnold and wife Ruby; grandchildren Michael Mannis and wife Natasha, Brady Joe Arnold and wife Kayla, Christopher James Mannis, Jacob Lee Mannis and Samantha Brooke Arnold; Great-grandchildren Brayden Arnold, Westin, Gracie and Braxton Mannis; sisters Margie Bryant and husband Charles of Aberdeen, NC, Margaret Potter and husband Jay of Roseburg, OR; brothers Raymond Buchanan and wife Linda "Gay" of Butler, TN, Walt Buchanan of Mountain City, TN; special nephews Douglas Arnold and wife Kayla, Josh Proffitt and wife Joanna. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday May 8, 2015 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gale Hartley officiating. Graveside service and burial will follow at the Arnold Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Gregg, John Brookshire, David Barrett, Gale Hartley and Darrell Junge. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Linda's son Freddie Arnold, 330 McQueen Street, Butler, TN.
