Jamie Catherine Stegall Pryor

Jamie Catherine Stegall Pryor, age 67 of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, June 04, 2015 at 1:47 surrounded by her family, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home of Winston Salem, NC. She was born on May 20, 1948 to the late Walter Haywood Stegall and Ruth Allred Stegall. Jamie was the last survivor of her siblings. Jamie was always smiling. She loved life and was always willing to help others. Jamie especially loved children. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Jamie loved her church, her church family and her Sunday School Class and members. She is survived by her husband of 46 years Michael Pryor; oldest daughter, Amy Combs and husband Jeff of Rural Hall, NC; youngest daughter, Tracie McDonald and husband Michael of Raleigh, NC; several nieces and nephews and many special friends. The family will receive friends from 3-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 4:00 p.m. with Pastors Jim Norman and Bill Worley officiating. Special music will be provided by Mr. Joe Simcox, Karen Ward and Pastor Jim Norman. Graveside Service and Interment will follow the funeral at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Pryor, Jeff Combs, Michael McDonald, Tony Griffith, Dan Spencer, Peter Kelly, Rick Moore, Frank Bass and Jeff Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Harvey Brown, Bill Walters, Jim Darocha, and Men's Sunday School Class. Flowers are appreciated, however, the family is requesting memorials be made in Jamie's memory to the Kate B.
