Jerry Glenn Pennington

Jerry Glenn Pennington, age 56 , of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015. He was born on July 23, 1958 to Ernest and Phyllis Porter Pennington. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, family and friends. He had several hobbies, which included arrowhead hunting and collecting. Jerry loved being around people, making them laugh and putting smiles on their faces. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Jerry is survived by his daughter, Kassandra Pennington De Martinez and husband Ofni Martinez; sister, Peggy Palmore; brothers: Ernest Pennington, Shane Pennington and Gary Pennington; granddaughter, Alexa Sky Nieves and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
