Carrie Lee Parker, age 88, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Sycamore Shoals Hosptial. She was born on November 8, 1926 to the late Dana and Rosa Stout Walsh. In addition to her parents, Carrie was preceded in death by her first husband, James Earl Tester and second husband, John Parker; two sons: Dana Tester and Terry Tester and sisters: Ruth Church and Pauline Campbell. Carrie was a member of God's Country Church and loved going to church, worshiping God and sharing God's word and works with others. She loved working outside in her flower and vegetable gardens and enjoyed crocheting and quilting. Carrie is survived by her daughter, Linda Horne and husband Robert; sons: James Tester and wife Kathy, Bob Tester and wife Pat, and Jack Tester and wife Karen; sister, Betty Neatherly; brother, Jimmy Walsh; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Rainbow Cemetery with Pastors Frank Johnson and Daniel Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Horne Jr., Jeff Tester, Robert Horne Sr., Richard Horne, Larry Canter and Ed Baker. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Tester.
