Richard Alan Peanut' Watson, age 32, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on March 13, 1983 to Barry and Patty Reece Watson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Patrick Wilson, who passed away on May 11, 2014 and grandparents: Mack and Dorothy Reece and Clarence and Gladys Watson. Peanut loved life and lived it to the fullest. He never met a stranger, always had a smile and was always willing to help others. He loved being outdoors and especially loved to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles. Peanut enjoyed the sound of his Stihl chainsaw and his Massey Ferguson tractor. He was proud of his Ford Truck and was a fan of anything Ford. Peanut was an active member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Barry and Patty Watson, Peanut is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Kaylie Marie Watson, who he adored; special aunts and uncles: Lynda and Harold Bunting and Chuck and Becky Reece; special friends, Preacher Mike Penley and Zane Penley; several more aunts, uncles, cousins. Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Penley and Tyler Fenner officiating. Special music will be provided by Ann Cress, Jill Arnold, Jesse Laing and Amy Phillips. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Brown Cemetery (located behind the church). Pallbearers will be David Bunting, Sam Cress, John Shull, Aaron Shull, Brian Mink, Tommy Dixon, Eddy Phillips, Zane Penley, Tristan Bunting. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Stout, Blake Stout, Terry Hodge, Chris Laing, Francis Scheirer and co-workers of Voith Hydro Inc.
