Donald Gwinn

Donald Charles Gwinn, age 52, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015. He was born on July 24, 1963 to Carolyn Dishmon Dixon and the late David A. Gwinn. In addition to his father, Donald was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Lloyd, grandmother, Ethel Gwinn and uncles: Charles Dishmon and Joe Gwinn. Donald was a good man who was kind and caring. He was a hard worker and was always willing to help others. Donald was always happy and enjoyed life. He was a loving son, brother and wonderful uncle. Donald is survived by his parents, Carolyn and Harry Dixon; sister, Loretta Lynn Edwards and husband Rick; brother, Dave Gwinn; half-brothers: Keith Gwinn and Caroll Chappell; grandmother, Raye Lloyd; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Mountain City Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Davy Gwinn and Harry Dixon. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his parents, 2475 Pine Orchard Road, Butler, TN 37640.
