Ruby Louise Tucker Weaver

Ruby Louise Tucker Weaver, age 81, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, at NHC Rehabilitation Center of Bristol, TN. She was born April 1, 1934, in Mountain City, TN, to the late Lee and Ines Tucker. She and her husband moved to Bristol in 1955. Ruby was an avid gardener and loved spending time in the outdoors especially when it involved planting or working with her flowers. She had attended Souls Harbor Church. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son, Timothy Lee Weaver; great granddaughter, Kayla White; and brothers, Ed and Earl Tucker. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Cecil Weaver; son, Donnie Weaver; daughter, Patty Beecham and husband Dallas; grandchildren, Angela Lucky, Jonathan Moore and Jennifer Weaver; four great grandchildren; brother, Paul Tucker; brother-in-law, Joe Weaver and wife Dot; sister-in-law, Billie Thomas and husband Bob; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers and Rev. Bob Steele officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the time of service. An entombment service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Serenity Garden Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m. Pallbearers will be Mike Weaver, Jonathan Moore, John David Lucky, Joey Thomas, Jack Weaver and Bobby Grubbs. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
