Ila Mae Hampton Ila Mae Hampton, age 85, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Life Care Center of Gray. She was born on May 30, 1930 to the late Ray Elmer Dotson and Willie Mae Pitsenbarger Dotson. In addition to her parents, Ila Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hampton; son, David Hampton; sisters: Faye Johnson, Violet Baker, Genieve McCrosky, Anna Lee Murphy and Deloris Dotson and brothers: Voyde Dotson, Ronald Dotson and Lowell Dotson. Ila Mae is survived by her children: Donna Taylor of Mountain City, TN, Robert Allen Hampton and wife Carolyn of Johnson City, TN and Terry Lee Hampton and wife Joy of Colorado; grandchildren: Tonya Ledford, Robert Hampton, Adam Hampton, Danny Hampton, Kimberly Dunn, Tracie Jones, Angie Ward and Ashley Taylor; great grandchildren: Sawyer Ward, Casidy Ward, Haley Jones, Jeffery Roark, Allison Roark, Tyler Ledford, Makayla Ledford, Trey Hampton, Brayden Hampton and Grace Hampton; one great-great grandson, Bryson Ward. The service for Ila Mae Hampton will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday September 21, 2015 from the Glenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, in Bristol, TN with Pastor Ben Hurd to officiate. Her family will serve as her pallbearers.
