Scotty Keith Miller, age 38, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 27, 2015. He was born on July 27, 1977 to Louise Tolley Stout and the late James David Miller. In addition to his father, Scotty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Magdalene Tolley and Clifford Tolley. Scotty was a hard worker and was employee of Utility Trailer of Glade Springs, VA. He was an avid animal lover, and especially loved dogs. He had many hobbies, but his favorite was assembling model cars. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and Nascar. Survivors include his loving wife, Penny Miller; mother and step-father, Louise and Tommy Stout; daughters: Angel Mullis and Jessica Mullis; son, Christian James; sister, Sherry Vanover and husband Ed; step-sister, Shirlene Odom, brother, Terry Miller; half brothers: Sonny Miller, Ricky Miller and Steve Miller; niece, Trinity Vanover; nephew, Adam Vanover; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Ed Vanover and Rev. Mike Trivette to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Street Cemetery, Hampton, TN. Pallbearers will be Terry Miller, Edward Vanover, Matt Parsons, Kurt Wilson, James Vanover and Tim Horn. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Stout and Adam Vanover. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his mother/step-father, Louise and Tommy Stout, 516 Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.
