John Forrester

John Wiley Forrester, age 54, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on June 2, 1961 in Chester County, Pa to the late Wiley Blaine Forrester and Patsy Ann Dunn Forrester. In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by sons; Brandon Forrester and Jonathon Forrester; sisters: Kathy Dunn and Kim Sutton; brother: Steve Forrester. John's favorite activities were attending auctions, going to yard sales and flea markets. He enjoyed his life as a farmer. . John was of the Christian faith. John is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kathy Forrester; sons: Chris Forrester and wife Brittney of Valle Crucis, NC and Cory Forrester of Mountain City; sisters: Pam Yates and husband Greg, Sandy Forrester all of Mountain City; brother: Doug Forrester and wife Sadie of North Carolina; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Saturday October 17, 2015 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Morefield officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. prior to service. Graveside Service and Interment will be on Sunday October 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Winters, Chad Miller, Dean Winters, Bob Sutton, Marty Anderson, Aron Freeman, Eric Ward, Josh Anderson and Jeremy Joyce. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Sewell, Ronnie Dunn, Bob Stout, Bill Tugman, Tom Tugman, Dave Tugman, Greg Yates, Glenn Winters and Jack Proffit.
