Linda Shepherd

Linda Shepherd, age 62, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015. She was born on June 14, 1953 to Gail Eastridge and the late Roy Pope. In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by special brothers-in-laws, Carl Hogerhuis, John Murphy and Johnny Lipfird. Linda loved her grandchildren very much and enjoyed watching them sing and play music. Linda is survived by her husband of 30 years, Bill Shepherd; daughter, Lisa Burrell and husband David of Newland, NC; son, Charles Lipfird of Mountain City, TN; sisters: Lois McClellan and husband Eddie of Mountain City, TN, Sharon Hogerhuis of Hesperia, CA; Evelyn Lipfird of Mountain City, TN; grandchildren: Amber Burrell, Sara Burrell, Geroge Burrell, Paige Lipfird; several nieces and nephews. It was Linda's wishes to be cremated and that no formal service is held. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 1668 Cold Springs Road, Mountain City, TN 37683 In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
