Aaron Longas, age 24, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 3, 1991 to Peggy Casey Acton and the late Philip Longas. In addition to his father, Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Trudy Casey. Aaron was very outgoing and loved sports and the outdoors. He enjoyed playing basketball and baseball, going camping and fishing and skateboarding and snowboarding. Aaron had many friends and he knew how to put a smile on the face of anyone who was sad or down. He attended Crossroads in Gray, TN and Gray Baptist Church. Aaron is survived by his mother and step-father, Peggy Casey Acton and Kenneth Acton; sisters: Erica Longas and Jocelyn Longas; special friend who was like a brother, Logan Freeman; fiancé, Cameron Watts; aunt, Brenda Thomas; uncles: Ronnie Casey and Danny Casey; great uncle, Tom Casey and wife Peggy; step grandmother, Nana Acton; several cousins and many, many special friends. A memorial service for Aaron will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Lewis to officiate. The family will receive friends from 3-4:-00 p.m. prior to the service. Honorary pallbearer is Logan Freeman.
