David Charles Hawley David Charles Hawley, age 82, of Sugar Mountain Assisted Living in Newland, NC and formerly of Mountain City,TN passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the Watauga Medical Center, Boone, NC. He was born on June 5, 1933 in Oneida, New York to the late Wallace C. Hawley and Nellie Dukette Hawley. David worked as a locksmith. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. David was a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Laskaris of Wysox, PA; Granddaughters, Krystal and Katie and ex-wife, Barbara Leon, of Mountain City, TN.
