Linda Winebarger

Linda Sue Winebarger, age 60, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital.  She was born on November 16, 1955 to the late William Carl Reece and Frances Marie Brookshire Reece.  In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Winebarger; nephew, Doug Baird and her father and mother-in-law, Earl and Vurble Winebarger.   Linda was a graduate of Johnson County High School.  She retired from the Johnson County School System following 24 years of service.  She enjoyed flowers and working in her flower gardens around the house.  Linda was very blessed with a large family and she enjoyed spending time with them.   Linda was a devout Christian and was a member of Liberty Christian Church.  Her church and church family were very special to her and she loved them dearly.   Linda is survived by her son, J.D. Winebarger; sister, Carol Baird; brothers:  Mike Reece and wife Temple, Jim Reece, John Reece and friend Rose and Rick Reece; nieces and nephews: Derek Baird, John Reece, Mikah Reece; Dawn Roberts and husband Jamie; Chad Reece and wife Stephanie and Kayla Reece; several great nieces and great nephews; many special friends and co-workers.   The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Liberty Christian Church with funeral service to follow at 7:00 with Minister C.D. ‘Bud’ Gentry officiating.  Special music will be provided by Jamie Roberts. Graveside Service and Entombment will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum with Minister Maurice Widener officiating.  Pallbearers are Doug Tester, Roger Winebarger, Tim Fenner, Chad Reece, Mike Smith and Earl Davis. Honorary pallbearers are:  Minister Jim Hutchinson, Minister Ben Moore, Terry Thompson, Roger Hensley, Carl Williams, Randall Ringwald and Bill Reece.   Memorials may be made to Liberty Christian Church,   At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Linda’s niece, Dawn Roberts, 144 Oakview Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.   Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mountaincityfh.com.
