Bob Trivett

 Daniel Fred ‘Bob’ Trivett, age 83, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his home.  He was born on March 31, 1932 in Mountain City, Tennessee, to the late Garfield and Vira Trivett.  In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sisters:  Eula Faye Courtner, Virda Mae Stout; brothers: Clay, Arlis, Dean and Pen and sister-in-law, Myrtle Jo Woods.   Bob was a former employee of Burlington Industries and Johnson County Courthouse.  Like most men of his generation, Bob was also a proud farmer.  He loved to farm and work outside.  Bob was a member of Ackerson Creek Church of Christ.   Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Trivett; one son, Darrell Trivett and wife Patty of Laurel Bloomery, TN; brothers:  Rod and Bill Trivett; sister, Patsy Eggers, brother-in-law, Charlie Woods, all of Mountain City, TN; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.   The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Buddy Morefield officiating and eulogy to be given by James Lefler.  Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Herman Trivette officiating.  Pallbearers will be Junior Garland, Otto Main, George Lowe, Buster Fritts, Earl Trivette, Bill Hammons and Danny Cullop.  Honorary pallbearers are John Lowe, John Reece, Hal Wagner, Tom Fortune, James Lefler, Burl Stout, Bob Miller, Brad Woods, Charlie Woods, Wayne Snyder, Kenneth Stout, Burley McComas, Men of Ackerson Creek Church of Christ and former employees of Johnson County Courthouse.   At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 667 Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.   Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com   The family of Daniel Fred ‘Bob’ Trivett has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
