Wayne Alexander, age 59, of Shady Valley, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born on April 30, 1956 to the late Ballard and Kathleen Fogleman Alexander. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by sisters: Lynda McCracken, Cloise McCracken and Bette Buttrey and brothers: Monroe Alexander, Jim Alexander, Harry Alexander and Maynard Alexander.   Wayne loved his family and friends deeply and always looked forward to family get togethers. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed mechanic work.   Wayne is survived by his wife and best friend of 25 years, Tammy Alexander; daughters: Patty Barry and Kimberly Alexander; sons: Jonathan Alexander and Billy Wallace; sisters: Mary Ellen Cassidy and Sue Alexander; brothers: Dale Alexander and John Alexander; grandchildren: Joseph Barry, Lindsay Barry, Michael Barry, Jennifer Barry, Jonah Wallace, Lexie K. Shelton; great grandchild, Joselynn Barry; special friends: Ed Tester, Johnny Vestal, John Combs, Meghetti Greer and many more. Several nieces and nephews also survive.   Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with Minister Jim Sherman officiating.  Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Billy Hill Cemetery, Shady Valley, TN. Pallbearers will be Aaron Sluder, Randy Wallace, David Sluder, Tracy Wallace, Wesley Woodby, Corey Woodby, Jimmy Hess and Chris Hess. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Wallace, Charles Wallace, Joey Wallace, Junior ‘Snake’ Houser, Andrew Bumgardner, Anthony Bumgardner, Adam Sluder and Kenny Bumgardner. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the funeral, at the funeral home.   At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Wayne’s sister-in-law, Marlene Bumgardner Wade, 884 Wallace Road, Shady Valley, TN 37688.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of Wayne Alexander has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
