Louise Duvall

  Ms. Louise Duvall, age 90, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at the Johnson County Community Hospital. She was born in Johnson County, TN on November 23, 1925 to the late Nat T. and Mollie Ann Micheals Jenkins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Duvall, her son, John Duvall Jr. who passed away March 8, 2015 and twelve siblings. She was the last of 13 children.   Louise worked for Lincoln Furniture Plant of Damascus, VA and in NC for many years and worked at the Mountain City Shoe Plant for 11 years. Louise was a very compassionate lady and had cared for her oldest sister for six years and when her son became ill, she took care of him and her granddaughter.    Louise is survived by her granddaughter, Tammy Duvall; several nieces and nephews and many special friends, with whom Louise spoke with daily.   The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kenneth Phipps officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be in the Jenkins Cemetery, located on Ackerson Creek Road.   The family of Louise Duvall has entrusted her services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
