Willie Crowe

Willie Crowe of Todd, North Carolina and formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on January 16, 2016 at the Glenbridge Health & Rehabilitation in Boone, NC. She was born April 20, 1924 to the late Henry Albert Osborne and Dessie Forrester Osborne in Taylors Valley VA. In addition to her parents, Willie was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Clay “Buster” Crowe; brothers: Henry Albert ‘Junior’ Osborne Jr. and George Osborne.   Willie was a former employee of Levi Manufacturing Company, where she worked until her retirement.   She was a member of First Christian Church in Mountain City and most recently attended Liberty Christian Church before moving to live with daughter and son in law.   Willie is survived by her daughters: Jackie Marsh of Todd NC and  Linda Mazza of Woodbridge VA; grandsons:   Lee Mazza of Woodbridge, VA and Mark Mazza of San Francisco CA; great grandsons:  Trae Mazza and Tyler Mazza both of Harrisonburg VA; sisters:  Dorothy Blankenbeckler of Mountain City, TN, JoAnne Shoun of IL, Madeline Jaskiewicz and Mary Ellen Brewer, both of MD, and several nieces and nephews as well as many Forrester/Osborne cousins.    The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Maurice Widener to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow in the Phillippi Cemetery.
