Margaret Fritz

    Margaret B. Fritz, age 85, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born on March 28, 1930 in Unicoi County, Erwin, TN to the late Lee Berry Bennett and Julia Shehan Bennett. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, William Anderson Fritz: sisters; Florence Bradshaw and Lily Belle Bradshaw; brothers: Josh Bradshaw, Howard Bennett, Dallas Bennett, Harvey Bennett, Dewey Bennett, Lee Roy Bennett, Kenneth Bennett and Corneilus Bennett and by a son-in-law, Frankie Townsend. Special friend Cindy Robertson.   Margaret loved to quilt, enjoyed county music and especially loved gospel music and really enjoyed playing Yahtzee, her favorite game. Margaret loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and will truly be missed. Margaret was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship.   She is survived by daughters: Lena Faye Townsend, Carol Marie Hamby and Fiancé Roger Stanly and Julia Hamby: sons:  John David Fritz and Freddie Anderson Fritz; grandchildren:  Joshua Fritz, Emily Barber and husband Bobby, Jerry Hamby, Fred Hamby, Renee Hunt and husband Jack, Scott Hamby, Daniel Fritz and wife Tamara, Keith Fritz, Ralph Hamby Jr. Joseph Hamby, Mark Hamby, Stephanie Lane and John Williamson Jr., Teresa Wright and husband Richard and Tasha Stanly and Fiancé Justin Seatz; several great grandchildren, sisters:  Ruby Shook, Annie B. Dugger and husband Ed and Ruth Hodge and husband Bill; special friend, Kathy Barns, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.   The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at7:00 p.m. with Randy McClure to officiate. Graveside service and burial will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Blue Ridge Cemetery in Lenoir, NC.   The family wishes to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the Silver Angels Caregivers for all of their kindess.   Friends may call at the home 180 Glenn Dr Mountain City   The family of Margaret B.
