Floyd Blakely Dunn

Floyd Blakely Dunn     Floyd Blakely Dunn, age 76, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at his home. He was born on June 9, 1939 in Johnson County, TN to the late Wade Dunn and Irene Johnson Dunn. In addition to his parents Blake was preceded in death by his son Richard Dunn and by a brother James Dunn.   Blake was a member of Dewey Christian Church.   He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Morefield Dunn; daughter and son-in-law, Angela Edwards and husband Bryan of Roan Mountain, TN, one granddaughter: Hannah Edwards, nieces, Jessica Palmer and Rebecca Cress and nephews, Jonathan Morefield and Victor Dunn.   The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Dewey Christian Church with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with minister C.D. Bud Gentry to officiate. Music will be provided by Fred Ramsey soloist and Kathy Love Pianist. Graveside Service and Interment will follow the funeral service from the Phillippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dearl Swift, Alfred Wilson, John Morefield, Justin Rider, Jonathan Morefield and Jason Palmer.     The family will receive friends at the home 554 Sprucey Ln.
