  Luther Joseph ‘Joe’ Icenhour, age 61, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. He was born on April 6, 1954 to the late Joseph Luther and Ruth E. Woodard Icenhour.  In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a brother, Charles David Icenhour.   Joe owned and operated his own Auto Parts store for many years. He had a big heart and was a kind and generous man who never turned anyone away.   He was a sponsor of Mary Martha Sunday School Class located at Valley View United Methodist Church.   He is survived by his wife, Sandy Icenhour; daughter, Jodi ‘Candy’ Hampton; step-son, Brandon Anderson; sisters: Helen Dugger, Betty Jean Warren, Peggy Horne and husband Jerry and Carol Proffitt and husband Tim; grandchildren:  Blade Hampton, Gage Hampton and Briana Anderson; special friend, who was also Joe’s business partner and co-owner, Bob Dunn; several cousins, nieces and nephews and many more special friends and neighbors.   A memorial service for Joe will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Icenhour to officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Anderson, Bob Dunn, Lee Livingston, Wesley Garland, Billy Ray Icenhour, Big Bill Icenhour, Daren Hannah, Zack Wills, Douglas Icenhour, John Horne and Cody Graybeal.   Memorials in Joe’s memory may be made to American Foundation For Suicide Prevention at www.afsp.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.   At other times, the family will receive friends at 1084 Berry Branch Road, Mountain City, TN.   Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of Luther Joseph ‘Joe’ Icenhour has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
