Bill Price, Jr.

  Bill Price, Jr., age 72, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday March 25, 2016 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on February 16, 1944 in Washington County VA to the late Will Price and Ruth Roark Price. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by one infant sister, Brother Jack Price and two infant brothers.   Bill installed Satellite’s for years around this area. He owned a printing business and was a dispatcher for the Town of Mountain City and the Johnson County Sheriff’s department for many years. He was a United States Army Veteran. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all who knew him. He was of the Baptist faith.   He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Greer Price; daughters: Crystal Eggers and husband Jason of Mountain City, TN and Jessica Price of Kingsport, TN; son, Shawn Price and wife Teena of Damascus, VA; grandchildren:  Camrynn, Caydence, Carma, Hunter and five step grandchildren; sisters:  Edith Price, Katie Stewart and husband Jody and Carolyn Porter all of Mountain City, TN; several nieces and nephews and special friend John Sutherland.     The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 5:00 p.m. with Chaplain Edwin Talley to officiate. Graveside service and burial will follow from the Phillippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hunter Price, Paul Greer, Jim Greer, Jody Stewart, Jeff Greer and Jason Eggers.
