Cassie Della Rose Greer

Cassie Della Rose Greer, age 61, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born October 4, 1954 in Ashe County, North  Carolina to the late Lonie Mahala and John Mahala.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel D.G. Greer.   Cassie worked for Burlington Industries for 15 years and then National Textiles for 15 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.   She is survived by her son, Robert (Dan) Greer of Mountain City, TN; step daughter, Angie Harper of Mountain City, TN; sister, Ellen Mahala Bright and husband Paul of Hudson, NC; brother, Raymond Mahala and wife Sarah of Mountain City, TN; step grandson, Mitchell Harper, of Mountain City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.   Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from Mountain City Funeral Home.
