Judy A. Gwinn, age 66, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at the Mountain City Care Center. She was born on January 21, 1950, in Johnson County, TN to the late Raymond E. and Georgia Bumgardner Warren. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband David A. Gwinn, who passed away on March 12, 2015 and a brother, Billy Warren. Judy was a member of Locust Gap Freewill Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school for many years. She loved her church and church family deeply. Judy’s life focus was on her family and church. Judy’s grandchildren were the love of her life along with her four legged companion, Muffin. Judy is survived by her sons: Keith Gwinn and wife Freida and Carroll Chappell and wife Kellie; brother, Jack Warren and wife Leona; grandchildren: Paisley Elizabeth Chappell, Emily Rose Chappell; step grandchildren: Chloe Rhymer and Philip Dugger; her precious dog, Muffin; several cousins, nieces and nephews and many special friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Shannon Courtner and Terry Baird to officiate. Special music will be provided by the Locust Gap Church Choir. Graveside service and interment will follow at the Rainbow Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Philip Dugger, Bill Church, Chris Atwood, Dave Bumgardner, Jody Bumgardner and Nathan Warren. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Mink, Bob Eggers and Larry Mink.
