Sarah Osborne, age 66, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 following a prolonged illness. She was born on September 19, 1949 to the late Donald and Marie Langtine Mulvaney. In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her sons: Ricky Osborne and Donald Osborne and a sister, Donna Dusharm. Sarah was born and raised in Carthage, New York. She moved to Mountain City, Tennessee in 1971. Sarah loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed being with and talking to people. Sarah attended Rainbow Mennonite Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years, James Glen Osborne; son, Stephen Osborne and wife Cherie; sisters: Debbie Stein and Brenda Dusharm; brothers: Dennis Mulvaney, Ronald Mulvaney and Patrick Mulvaney; grandchildren: Chrystina Osborne, Lily Osborne, Hannah Osborne, Savannah Osborne, Isaac Osborne, Aaron Osborne, Elijah Osborne and Joe Osborne; great grandchild, Ricky Ryder Osborne; special friend, Lisa Wilson and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Sarah will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Rainbow Mennonite Church with Pastor Gary Gambill officiating. Special music will be provided by the Rainbow Mennonite Church Choir. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Rainbow Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Isaac Osborne, Aaron Osborne, Elijah Osborne, Joe Osborne, Kenny Williams and Nathan Warren. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Warren, Mark Tester, Darrell Richardson, Bobby Osborne and Charles Osborne. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rainbow Mennonite Church, 1155 Rainbow Road, Mountain City, TN 37683. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 547 Claude Warren Road, Mountain City, TN.
