Ms. Raye Dishmond-Lloyd

  Ms. Raye Dishmond Lloyd, age 94, of Butler, Tennessee and formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016. She was born on October 6, 1921 in West Jefferson, North Carolina to the late Charles and Verdie Bear Dishmond.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Lloyd was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Lloyd, son, Charles Dishmond; sisters:  Myrtle Black, May Black, Edna Huffman and Faye Burgess and brothers:  Bud Charles Dishmond, Donald Dishmond and Carol Dishmond and a grandson, Donald Gwinn.   Ms. Lloyd was a loving mother and was proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her later years, she enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and trying her luck at scratch-offs.   She was of the Baptist Faith.   Ms. Lloyd is survived by her loving daughters: Carolyn Dixon and husband Harry and Louis Lloyd; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   Arrangements are incomplete at this time.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of Ms. Raye Dishmond Lloyd has entrusted her services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
