Opal Pauline Reedy

    Pauline Canter Reedy, age 72, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on June 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born on July 28, 1943 to the late Jonathan and Fannie Bryant Canter. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Robert ‘Bob’ Reedy; son, James Bronson Triplett; sisters and brothers-in-law: Dorothy Mains and her husband Ralph, Hattie Snyder and husband John, Grace Wilson and husband Allen and Cora Lee McFadden and husband Jake; brothers and sisters-in-law: George Bryant and wife Opal, Earl Canter, Junior Canter, Stacy Canter, Millard Canter and wife Hazel and longtime special friend, Charlie McFadden.   Those left to cherish Pauline’s memory are her daughters: Debbie Triplett and husband Mark and Connie Hodge and husband Jason; son, Dwayne ‘Bo’ Atwood and wife Christi; special grandson who was raised as a son, Dwayne Canter and wife Heather; grandchildren: Bronson Randy Triplett, Brittney Arnold, Ethan Atwood, Luke Atwood, Anna Rose Hodge and J.J. Hodge; great grandchildren: Gabe Clunn and Lance Canter; special aunt, Faye Church; special niece and caregiver, Wanda McFadden Dunn; several cousins, nieces and nephews.   The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Gambill officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Arnold Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bronson Triplett, Dwayne Canter, Sam Wilson, Daniel Moses, Doug McFadden and Cole Peters.
