Rickey Dale Vines

Rickey Dale Vines, age 57, of Hampton, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born on June 17, 1958 in Carter County, Elizabethton, Tennessee to Selma Jane Lambert Vines and the late Lemuel Lee Vines.   Rick enjoyed working with his hands and could fix about anything he set his mind to. He was a member of Lower Elk Baptist Church.   In addition to his mother, Selma Vines, Rick is survived by three sons: Travis Vines and fiancé Sandra of Camden, SC, Kevin Vines of Camden, SC and Derrick Vines of Elizabethton, TN; sisters: Janet Bailey and husband Joseph of Hampton, TN and Joyce Walsh and husband Joe of Butler, TN; brother, Jeff Vines and wife Julie of Elizabethton, TN; grandchildren:  Chelsie Vines, Taylor Vines, Cheyanne Vines and Kailey Vines; special friend, James Arnold; several nieces, nephews and cousins.   A family memorial service will be held.   Friends may call at the home of his mother, 135 Mockingbird Lane, Elizabethton, TN 37643.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com   The family of Rickey Dale Vines has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
