  Mary Ellen Miller, age 79, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her residence. She was born on June 15, 1937 to the late John and Leah Evelyn Crowder Moretz. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters: Janice Marie Robbins and Lorraine McCloud.   Mary was a former employee of Burlington Industries and Levis.   She was a dedicated servant of the Lord and a member of Dyson Grove Baptist Church. She was a talented pianist and played the piano at Rainbow Church for many years.   Mary enjoyed the outdoors, especially summer when she could work in her yard and garden and pick her fresh strawberries. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them.   Mary is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jimmy Miller; sons and daughters-in-law: Michael H and Yolanda Forbes Miller of Elizabethton, TN, Jeffrey C. and Phyllis Potter Miller and Gregory F. and Edna Crowder Miller, all of Mountain City, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Helen L. and Bud Arnold of Butler, TN; grandchild, Haley M. Miller; step grandchildren: Shannon Payne and Michelle Michaels; step great grandchildren: Ashtyn Henson and Kal-El Michaels and several nieces and nephews.   The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Leonard Fletcher officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at the Rainbow Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lowe, Eric Lowe, Steve Osborne, David Arnold, Larry McCloud and Robert Robbins. Honorary pallbearers are members of Dyson Grove Baptist Church.     At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 530 Hospital Hill Road, Mountain City, TN.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of Mary Ellen Miller has entrusted her services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
