Daniel Edward Barnes

Daniel Edward Barnes, age 58, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born on December 27, 1957 to Richard Barnes and Lorraine Miller Barnes.   Daniel loved animals but had a special place in his heart for Chihuahua dogs and was a member of the Rescue Association for Chihuahua Dogs. He worked in construction for many years. Daniel was an avid outdoorsman and loved being able to work outside.   In addition to his parents, Richard Barnes and Lorraine Barnes; Daniel is survived by his fiancé, Rebecca Barlow; sister, Wanda Gail Potter; brother, David Lee Barnes and several nieces and nephews.   It was Daniel’s wishes to be cremated. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Dyson Grove Baptist Church with a Memorial Service following at 7:00 p.m. To honor Daniel, memorial donations may be made to the family.   At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Lorraine Barnes, 188 Clarence Stout Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of Daniel Edward Barnes has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
